Center Stage Dance and Gymnastics school held its 8th annual dance recital on June 10, 2017.  The theme this year was “Artistry in Motion”.

The recital featured two shows with about 40 dance selections per show!  Pollard Media Productions has provided consistent quality production services for this annual recital.  This year we used three high definition cameras to capture from different angles and edited in Adobe Premiere Pro.  Premiere has evolved to include Lumetri Colors plugin which does great color adjustments on the demanding color changes throughout the dance recital.

The continued challenge this year was producing quality DVDs.  While it seems that folks are still wanting DVDs over Blurays, the available DVD authoring software is apparently mediocre.  Adobe has stopped developing Adobe Encore for some time now, and it’s amateur and unreliable DVD authoring software that is available.  So we had to stay with Adobe Encore for best quality output.

However, next year the plan is to deliver HD content either on demand or USB drives for viewers to enjoy true HD content on their TV sets.
